I have been on NG since 2008, and in 2021 I can't think of another corner of the internet that has the spirit for creation that Newgrounds has cultivated. I love the portal, I love the forums and the people who fill them with their lives and creations. I'm maybe a bit too sentimental but I really appreciate that a place like Newgrounds has been able to exist into *current year*

The new project

I will be starting a NG Audio Portal livestream or podcast that I'm going to run like a DJ set. There is so much music on this website that needs to be heard! I have grown up watching DJ's in my local community perform at my local venues, and unfortunately that's all come to a halt due to Covid. I've wanted to try out stringing together hot beats for anyone who will listen for years now, and now there's two huge obstacles in the way. Firstly, there are no venues to play at. Second, when you try to stream online, you get hit with DMCA and it gets your stream cut or muted!

The solution? You can play tracks that you have a license or permission to play. That's why I come back here to NG. There are so many artists here that are flying under the radar and are making great things that need to be shared! I'd love to share them.
